Sigmund Lindner GmbH (SiLi) has been manufacturing glass beads since 1854. Today, it is one of the world leaders in the field of grinding media. SiLi’s competitive advantage is its enhanced manufacturing process using the best German technology, resulting in superior quality grinding media which maximises media life and minimises mill wear. In addition, SiLi offers a variety of glass and ceramic bead types with the widest selection of very narrow size ranges for enhanced grinding efficiency across various applications.

Our company, Grinding and Dispersion Technologies has been in the business of supplying high quality grinding media and related products to premium industries in the field of paints, inks, dyes, polyester yarn, high tech coatings etc. Our founder, Mr. F. Carvalho has over four decades of industrial experience, having come from a family who pioneered sand mills in India and later worked with one of the world’s best mill manufacturer. This rich “hands-on” experience in the milling industry over a very wide range of applications has given Grinding and Dispersion Technologies the competitive edge to be able to guide customers for the proper selection and usage of grinding media to maximise production and save costs.
